During a recent family trip to Oxfordshire, we had the pleasure of staying at the quirky and charming Old Inn. As a mother of three young children, I always look for family-friendly accommodations, and this historic inn did not disappoint in that regard. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find that the two rooms we booked were facing each other, providing us with privacy and convenience. the characterful interior with exposed beams added to the cozy atmosphere, making us feel right at home. My children were particularly amused by the wobbly floorboards and the sliding glasses on the dressing tables - little details that added to the charm of the place. Despite the bustling road outside, our rooms were surprisingly quiet, allowing us to sleep soundly after a day of exploring the picturesque village green and surrounding countryside. the breakfast offered in the morning was satisfying, and the friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed. One evening, we faced an unexpected challenge when the restaurant was closed due to unforeseen circumstances. the manager, Kayleigh, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and even arranged for a delicious takeaway meal to be delivered to our table in the bar. the Old Inn provided a memorable and pleasant stay for my family. the warm hospitality, unique decor, and convenient location made our trip to Oxfordshire truly special. We will definitely be returning in the future for another delightful experience at this charming inn.
